Beko Washer Error Codes List

Beko washing machines are equipped with modern self-diagnosis sensors; when a problem occurs in the washing machine, Beko warns you by showing an error code on the display so that you can resolve the problem in a timely manner. Agree, knowing how to solve a problem is much better than suddenly being faced with a broken washing machine. Below is a table with error codes for Beko washing machines.

Error codes for Beko washing machines without display

Most often, old Beko washing machines display errors starting with the letter “H”. In models without a display, they can be recognized by the indication above the horizontal row of buttons:

Code 1 2 4 8 16
Н1 + - - - -
H2 - + - - -
H3 + + - - -
H4 - - + - -
H5 + - + - -
H6 - + + - -
H7 + + + - -
H11 - - + + -

Note: You can get the error number from the top line of the table. For example, in the case of H6, six is 2+4, in the case of H7, seven is 1+2+4. We look at the top line and get the numbers that need to be added. Converting a binary number to decimal.

In the table, “+” means the LEDs are on. Based on the combination of “light bulbs,” it is easy to get a typical error code for a TM Beko washing machine without a display, if you are familiar with the binary number system. Only H11 does not fall under this rule. The top line of the plate will simplify the counting.

Error codes for Beko washing machines with display and dryer

Code Description What to check?
H01 The heating element does not heat the water or heats up too quickly

The reason may be the temperature sensor, heater, board, wiring.

Turn off the power to the Washer for 20 minutes. Unplugging from the outlet will help in case of a one-time failure caused by a power surge

H02 The board does not see the heating element Ring the heater, look for an open circuit between it and the controller
H03 The heating element works before adding water and/or after washing. There is overheating Glitch of the temperature sensor, heater, controller or pressure switch. The last option is relevant if the heating element turns on when the tank is not filled with water
H04 Overflow of water The intake valve or controller is at fault. The problem may arise due to a one-time failure or fatal failure
H05 Pump doesn't work

The first suspect is the drain pump. To ensure that the pump is working properly, it is connected directly.

In the case of a working pump, the drainage path of the washing machine is examined.

Other reasons: problems with the controller, pressure switch

H06 The drum does not spin The reason is in the engine, a typical option is that the brushes are worn out. The problem may also be in the board triac or wiring
H07 Doesn't take up water There is a snag in the fill valve, pressure switch, or the hatch lock is acting up, as a result of which the wash does not start
H11 The drum does not spin

Try spinning the drum by hand. If you have difficulty, there may be a foreign object obstructing the movement.

Alternative reasons: the motor is broken or the wiring is bad

E01 The water does not heat up or the heating is too slow

Slow heating is possible with low voltage.

If the power supply is in order, it’s worth checking the temperature sensor, electrical wiring, and board.

The breakdown of the heating element in this case is not typical for the water heating error code of the Beko washing machine; other parts often fail

E02 Doesn't heat water Test the temperature sensor, heating element
E03 The washer-dryer model constantly dries clothes The drying sensor is broken, loss of signal between it and the heater
E04 Doesn't take water

See if there is water in the apartment, and if the faucet of the washing machine is accidentally turned off.

Check the condition of the inlet filter.

In addition to the obvious reasons, an annoying breakdown of the valve or triac of the board is possible

E05 The washing machine is unable to pump water into the drain due to a blockage. Accordingly, the spin does not turn on

Check:

Drain filter. We unscrew it and see if there are any coins, buttons, etc. stuck there.

Sewer patency. The hose is usually lowered into an L-shaped section of the sewer. To clean an area that has lost its passability, you can use aggressive chemicals.

Pump performance, drainage path. The pump is called and connected directly. If it is ok, look for a blockage in the drain tract inside the machine. This could be a sock, baby underwear, etc.

You must also ensure that the drain hose is positioned according to the instructions.

E07 Doesn't take up water Before checking the entire chain from the inlet valves to the circuit board, you need to make sure that the water reaches the unit that regulates the flow. Sometimes the reason is a poorly connected pressure switch
E10 The breakdown is related to the hatch lock. The door is not closed properly or does not open You need to look at the lock, controller and wires from the board to the locking device
E11 The drum doesn't spin Most likely the problem is in the engine. Open the case, install a tester and check the brushes, windings and tachometer
Е14 JET pump. Control of the JET pump in short circuit.
E15 Flow meter error. Check if the flow meter connection is installed on the water intake hose
E17 A large amount of foam was detected.
E18 Unbalanced loading of items into the washing machine drum.
Е23 Door switch error
Е26 EEPROM memory error
Е27 Arbitrary drainage of water. Pump triac in short circuit. Flow meter and level sensor control
Е28 No door lock signal
Е29 Unstable voltage parameters
Е31 Condenser (evaporator) NTC error.
Е32 Foam sensor NTC error
Е35 Air heater error
Е37 NTC wash sensor error
Е38 NTC drying error
Е41 Fan error
Е43 Air heater, fan or evaporator error
Е45 Incorrect version of the program file

You can group the codes like this:

H2, H3, E2, E3 - heating problem. The washing machine categorically refuses to heat the water or does it non-stop. There may also be low heat. You can check whether the heating element provides heat by placing your hand on the transparent glass hatch of the horizontal washing machine. It’s more complicated with vertical heaters: their heating is checked using a hose at the time of draining or according to the readings of the electric meter. When the heating element is operating, at least 0.5 kW is consumed per wash.

H4, H7, E4, E7 - the problem with getting some water. First of all, we check the presence of water in the house and the inlet filter. We unscrew the hose and tighten it by hand, we do not use a wrench.

H5, E5 - drain failed. It makes sense to check the lower filter and sewage system yourself. If there is a clog inside the washer, it is more difficult to overcome the problem, and checking the pump will require equipment repair skills.

Beko washing machine: error reset

The Beko washing machine is quite advanced: it can not only perform self-diagnosis, but also store errors in its memory. In some situations, this function is harmful. This happens when a one-time failure occurs, all components are in working order, but the home assistant does not start due to a stored emergency code. To reset an error in a capricious Beko washing machine, you must:

1.Enter test mode. Close the washer door. Place the switch handle in a vertical position. Hold down “Start” and, while holding it, click the switch 1 position to the right, or press the power button and wait a few seconds.

The choice of option with a selector or button depends on the model of the machine. An error code will be shown on the display. If there is no screen, the washing machine will let you know that it has successfully entered the service mode by indicating and clicking the lock.

2. Click “Start”, then again. If all indicators start flashing at the same time, the code is reset. The washing machine can be turned off.

3. Checking the result. Enter diagnostic mode. If the washer shows E--, this means that the procedure was successful.

In conclusion, about the advisability of repairs that require replacement of parts. There are 2 main options in this regard:

Buy a new washing machine, and sell the old one for a symbolic price to craftsmen who repair equipment, or scrap it.

Pay for repair work.
