Bosch dishwasher malfunction: reasons

Bosch dishwasher malfunction: reasons

— violation of operation;

- hardness of water;

— incorrect installation;

— power supply failures;

— insufficient pressure in water pipes;

- high humidity in the apartment (a dry and warm room is ideal for such equipment).

Common Bosch dishwasher malfunction

— does not heat up (the heater or electronics is to blame);

— does not drain (clogged drain, pump, breakdown of the pump or control board);

— decreased quality of washing (poor water pressure, clogged rocker arms);

— when the hatch is open, the pump operates (leakage or module malfunction, error E15);

— the faucet indicator is on (inspect the water supply. If an additional error appears on the display, disconnect the equipment, turn off the faucet and call a dishwasher repair center).

- electronic board. Failures in individual programs or system failure. High-quality diagnostics are required. There are many elements collected here that only an experienced master can deal with.

- circulation pump. To remove foreign bodies, disassembly is necessary; if the winding burns out, a complete replacement is required.

- heater. It has built-in relay sensors: temperature, fluid flow and protective. In new models, a circulation pump is also built in. If any element is damaged, the entire heating element is replaced.

— damage to the door lock, start button. When you run your dishwasher frequently, these parts can break down quite quickly. Disassemble the front part of the hatch if you notice that the door begins to close poorly; clean the groove in which the power button moves. Replace components if necessary.

- dispenser malfunction. This usually happens when the equipment begins to wash dishes less efficiently - this means that the compartment does not open during washing. Examine the solenoid valve control circuit. If this is not available, some models have a drive with wax inside, which, depending on the presence of voltage, expands or contracts in volume and pushes the piston.

- the title of frequent malfunction of the Bosch dishwasher is the problem with filling with water. There are several ways to fill the tank with water - by pressure, by time, using a meter. By pressure - when the liquid reaches the desired level, the diaphragm closes the contact and a signal is sent to the electronic controller. Usually the diaphragm needs to be flushed or replaced. The latter option has a sensor that accurately monitors the water level. In this case, you will have to change the entire heat exchanger, since the sensor is built into it.
