Interference in Samsung monitors due to hardware faults can be expressed as follows:

Screen darkening. The reason is a breakdown of the inverter. It is needed to supply current to the matrix backlight elements. The inverter fails - there is no voltage to the light bulbs, the monitor goes dark;

The appearance of stripes, partial disappearance of the image. Such defects arise due to damage to the matrix. Perhaps water or some foreign object got inside the case;

The shape of the image changes, it becomes distorted, the windows change location. The reason is controller failure;

Dimming part of the screen. The reason is the failure of the matrix backlight bulbs. Perhaps the monitor has been in use for too long or has been running at maximum brightness for a long time without a break.

Hardware causes of interference and ways to solve them

First of all, if the monitor has completely stopped displaying an image, check the cable connection to the power supply and the system unit. Try connecting the monitor to another computer; the problem may not be with the monitor at all. Monitor malfunctions can be caused by such malfunctions in the computer.

System board failure

Look inside the system unit. If you notice that the appearance of the motherboard has changed, for example, the capacitors have inflated, or some other elements have changed in appearance, most likely the board has already expired. Repairing a motherboard is an expensive and difficult task. It’s easier to replace it with a new one - it’s much faster and, most likely, cheaper than soldering an old board.

Incorrect operation of the video adapter

The operation of the monitor and video card are directly related. If there are problems with the video card, the monitor will also not work correctly. Disassemble the system unit and inspect the video card. It may be overheating due to the thermal paste being burnt out. Check if the card has been overclocked - this can lead to overheating and permanent shutdowns.

Driver malfunction

Another common cause of interference is incorrect settings of video card drivers. This often causes image defects. Try installing original drivers by downloading from the official website of the video card manufacturer.
