To do this, tell us more about this code and name the oven model.

Please note that errors only indicate in which direction the technician should make diagnostics. At the same time, we believe that this table can be useful for everyone - craftsmen for work, clients - for understanding how difficult the repair may be.

AEG Microwave Oven Error Codes

F0 - no alarm

The main control board in your oven has failed to communicate with the alarm. Most likely, this is a malfunction of the control board itself, which may require replacement.

F1 - the door does not lock

If there is a problem with the door lock in your appliance, you may see this error code. Check the door lock, wiring and connections to determine the cause of the problem.

F2 - the door does not open

An error opposite to the one above indicates that your oven door will not open. Once again, you need to check the door lock mechanism, its wiring and connections. This error may also be related to the oven thermostat, as this may give incorrect temperature readings, preventing the door lock from unlocking.

F3 - Self-test error

Turn off the device, unplug it for about five minutes and plug it back in. This should clear the F3 error code. It's so easy! If this doesn't fix the problem, there's probably a problem, so check out the links to our diagnostic videos below.

F4 - Temperature sensor fault

If you see this error code, you need to check the temperature sensor, wiring and connections between the sensor and the main control board. You may need to replace the sensor.

F5 - Control board error

This error indicates that there is a problem with the main electronic control board in the AEG oven. You may need to replace it to get your microwave working again.

F7 - Problem with mains power

You will see this error if your oven has a problem turning on the power. This may mean that your device is not connected correctly. You'll need to check the electrical connection to your oven to get to the bottom of this error code.

F8 - Problem with the power supply for the control board

The main control board is not receiving power as it should. Check the wiring and connections. If all connections are good, you may need to replace the control board.

F9 - automatic processor reset

As with the F3 error, turning off and unplugging the device for five minutes before reconnecting should clear and correct this error code.
