Typical GTX 980 Problems
Overheating (especially reference models)
- Cards with blower-style cooling often suffered from high temperatures, reducing performance due to throttling.
- Examples: reference models from ASUS, EVGA (early revisions).
Power supply issues (VRM and MOSFET)
